    Two years ago, I (graduate) from the Simon Fraser University. My father (want) me to see the world, so he (give) me enough money to buy an open ticket around the world. I (start) my travels in Turkey because it (be) a country I had always found fascinating. I (take) a train to Bulgaria and then (travel) by bus to the Paris. There, I (sail) by boat down the Seine to the ocean. It (be) all very interesting, but I (want) to travel in English speaking countries as well, so I (fly) to London, then to the U.S. After six months, I (fly) to Australia and (backpack) from one side to the other. When I finally (return) home, I (be) a very different person.

    Now that I (be) to see the world, my view of life (change). I (meet) many people on my travels and I (make) many good friends. Since returning to the Canada, I (be) in regular email contact with many of my friends.

    I (change) greatly because of my many experiences. I (become) much more tolerant of the differences in people. Also, I (like, not) to eat anything except western food before, but now I (learn) to like many kinds of food. I think that one of the biggest changes for me was caused by the fact that I (know, not) much about the world's religions, but I (learn) a great deal during my travels.
